Our very own Ian Blewitt will be running the Dublin Half Marathon on Sunday 12th August 2018. Ian's run will take him across 13.1 miles of the Irish capital, and he hopes to run it in under 2 hours! Ian has previously run in 4 half marathons, so is practically a professional at this point!

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the national charity dedicated exclusively to supporting research to improve diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund has three main objectives:

1. To raise funds for research into early detection, new treatments and ultimately a cure for pancreatic cancer
2. To encourage more of the research community to get involved in pancreatic cancer research
3. To promote the need for more research funding by the major cancer research funding organisations

To date, Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund has supported 52 research projects with grants totalling £8.1 million - all through fundraising and donations.
