Plevin has appointed Gareth Mason as their new Group Operations Manager to support its operations across all of their processing sites.

Gareth has been employed as Sales Manager at Plevin since February 2014, promoting the company’s Snowflake and Woodpecker pet and equine bedding brands. He also managed the incoming waste wood process for its recycling facilities.

In his previous employment, Gareth held the positions of Works Director and Production Manager for 7 and 10 year respectively. His previous experience holds him in good stead to enable the company to refocus on operational development, improving efficiencies across the four Plevin sites in Mossley - Greater Manchester, Hazlehead - South Yorkshire, Elkesley - Nottinghamshire and Boston - Lincolnshire.

As one of the largest wood waste recyclers in the UK, Plevin recycle all grades of waste wood. Alongside the animal bedding division of the business, Plevin provide stock for the panel board industry and manufacture wood fuel for the E.ON biomass renewable energy plant in Sheffield.
