We have raised over £2, 200 for the North West Air Ambulance Charity. The fundraising, which included taking part in the Great Manchester 10k run and dress down days, has enabled us to support the worthy cause.
Our chosen charity of the year, the North West Air Ambulance Charity provides an essential service which receives no Government funding and relies on donations alone. For over 15 years the charity has been providing rapid treatment to patients across the region through its fleet of three helicopters, 365 days a year.
Andrew Clugston, Transport Manager, Plevin, added, “We are proud to be fundraising for the North West Air Ambulance. Thank you to all of our employees, customers and suppliers that have sponsored us. It is thanks to these contributions that we have helped towards keeping the helicopters in the air”.
Linda de Sá, Challenge Events Officer at the North West Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We’d like to thank Plevin for choosing us as their nomination charity this year. Just as many critically injured patients would not survive without the service that we provide, our charity would not be here without the generosity of the North West community. This donation will help raise the funds it costs to keep our three helicopters operational and save lives.
