Plevin supplies bedding to top horse shows

LEADING wood recycling firm Plevin has strengthened its position as a market leader in horse bedding after securing a deal as the exclusive supplier to several prestigious equestrian competitions.

The company behind the Woodpecker and Snowflake brands, will supply to three top international competitions taking place over the next six months.

This is the second year running that Plevin will be supplying its Woodpecker bedding to these events.

Di Wass, Musketeer Event Management said “we are extremely pleased that Plevin has again agreed to supply us with Woodpecker bedding” “Many of the competitors at last year’s events commented on the high quality of the product and we are sure everyone will be delighted that Plevin are supplying their Woodpecker bedding again”

Plevin has already supplied its Woodpecker bedding to the SPC Burnham Market International which was held in March and will also be supplying the Houghton International Horse Trials in May along with Burnham Market Horse Trials in September 2013.

Family-owned Plevin, which employs 150 people across five sites, manufactures a range of wood-based products from virgin and waste wood materials.

The company collects, processes and distributes 600,000 tonnes of wood a year.

Woodpecker bedding is dust extracted and absorbent, providing natural odour control. Other Plevin products include Snowflake Supreme and Snowflake Softchip
