LEADING wood recycling firm R Plevin & Sons has again agreed to provide bedding for the country’s premier livestock show.
The exclusive deal sees Plevin supply 2,000 bales of its small Snowflake Woodshavings for use at this year London Championship Small Livestock Show in October, with more than 30,000 visitors and around 2,500 animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils and mice expected during the two day crufts-style event in Peterborough.
This is the second year running that Plevin will be supplying it Snowflake bedding for the event.

Many people commented last year on the high standard of the product and we are sure everyone will be delighted that Plevin are supplying the bedding again”
Family-owned Plevin which employs 150 people across five sites, manufactures a range of wood-based products from virgin and waste wood materials.
The company collects, processes and distributes 600,000 tonnes of wood a year.
Customers within the animal bedding sector include major supermarkets and large scale pet wholesalers.
As well as Snowflake, Plevin’s consumer brands include Woodpecker.
Snowflake woodshavings are manufactured using selected softwood timbers sourced from responsibly managed forests and the product is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC)
